Obviously the color, but the weight and the design are very nice.
This is my first Ridge pen but not my first pen. I was a previous fan of Retro51 pens for their comfort and smoothness but my new favorite go to pen is the Ridge. I took the clip off (an easy option they made) because it would hit my hand when writing. The standard ink that comes with it is not as fine tipped as I like. I will be replacing it soon. I have not been writing with this pen for long but I hope it will be my everyday utensil for years to come.
This is my third pen purchased through Ridge. I've given my last two to my brother (accountant) and my fiance (teacher) and they both have found it very useful and robust for on-the-move work.
I work outdoors, so the bright orange makes it easy to find, if dropped. I love it!
